Go Bags & Rifle Resistant Armor Plating
Through a state grant and a very generous donation by the Arlington Police Foundation, the APD was able to outfit all officers with ballistic armor “go bags.” These bags contain equipment to protect our officers during an active shooter situation.
The Arlington Police Foundation supports and supplements the efforts of the Arlington, Texas Police Department through officer resources, youth programs, recognition of outstanding service and scholarships.
